Who we are
Campaignity is operated by Aval Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware, United States. When we say "we," "us," or "Campaignity," that's who we're referring to. When we say "you," we mean anyone who visits our website or uses our platform.
Aval Inc. is the data controller for all personal information collected through Campaignity.
What we collect
We only collect what we actually need. Here's what that includes:
Information you give us
- Account info — your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
- Billing info — payment details processed through our payment providers (e.g. Stripe). We never store full card numbers ourselves.
- Profile info — anything you optionally add to your account, like a company name or profile photo.
- Content you create — campaigns, copy, uploaded files, and any other material you build inside Campaignity.
- Communications — messages you send to our support team or responses to surveys.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, actions taken, and time spent on the platform.
- Device & browser info — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies & similar technologies — small files stored on your device to keep you logged in and improve your experience. See Section 7 for details.
Information from third parties
- If you connect a third-party service (like an ad platform or analytics tool), we may receive data from that service to power the integration.
- If you sign up through a referral link or ad, we may receive basic info about that interaction.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver and improve the Campaignity platform and its features
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send you important account and service notifications
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Understand how people use the platform so we can make it better
- Send you product updates or marketing emails — only if you've opted in, and you can opt out anytime
- Comply with legal obligations
How we share your information
We don't sell your personal information. Full stop. We only share it in these limited situations:
Service providers
We work with trusted companies that help us run Campaignity — payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They only receive the data they need to do their job, and they're bound by confidentiality agreements.
Third-party integrations you connect
When you connect an integration, you authorize us to exchange the necessary data with that service. You control which integrations are connected and can disconnect them at any time.
AI feature providers
If you use AI-powered tools on your plan, your prompts are processed by our AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate responses. We do not share your identifiable information with them beyond what's needed to process your request.
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Campaignity, our users, or the public.
Business transfers
If Aval Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you before that happens.
With your consent
We may share your data in other ways if you explicitly ask us to or give us permission.
Your data, your rights
You have control over your personal information. Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct — update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete — ask us to delete your personal data.
- Restrict — limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Port — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object — opt out of certain types of processing, like marketing emails.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@campaignity.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After you delete your account:
- We hold your data for up to 30 days for backup and operational purposes.
- After that, it's permanently deleted — unless we're legally required to keep it longer.
- Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes — this can never be linked back to you.
Need your data deleted sooner? Email privacy@campaignity.com and we'll handle it.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep the platform working and to understand how it's used. Here's what we use:
- Essential cookies — required for the platform to function (e.g. keeping you logged in). You can't opt out of these.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand usage patterns so we can improve the product. You can opt out in your account settings.
- Preference cookies — remember your settings and preferences across sessions.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the platform functions.
Data security
We take security seriously. Here's how we protect your data:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
- Data at rest is encrypted on our servers.
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorized staff only, on a need-to-know basis.
- We regularly review and update our security practices.
No system is 100% secure. If you ever suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@campaignity.com.
Children's privacy
Campaignity is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we've collected data from someone under 18, we'll delete it promptly. If you believe this has happened, please contact us at privacy@campaignity.com.
International data transfers
Campaignity is based in the United States. If you're accessing the platform from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
By using Campaignity, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. We take appropriate steps to ensure your data is handled securely regardless of where it's processed.
Third-party links & services
Campaignity may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with external services. This Privacy Policy doesn't apply to those. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect or visit. We're not responsible for their privacy practices.
Marketing communications
If you've opted into marketing emails, we may send you product updates, tips, and occasional promotional content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing privacy@campaignity.com.
Transactional emails — like billing confirmations, password resets, and account notices — are not marketing and will still be sent regardless of your marketing preferences.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
The "Effective" date at the top of this page always reflects when it was last updated. We encourage you to review it periodically.
